Datuk Jeffery Ong Cheng Lock

Biography

 Datuk Jeffery Ong Cheng Lock (“Datuk Jeffery”) was appointed to the Board on 14 May 2007. He also serves as a member of the Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee. Datuk Jeffery is an Associate of the Institute of Business Administration, Australia and was formerly the Senior Director of Human Resources of Infineon Technologies, responsible for Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Welfare, Training, Employee Relations and Government Relations. He currently serves as the Council Member of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM), Chairman of FMM Malacca Branch, Board Member of FMM Institute, Member of the Malaysian Institute of Management, Member of the Malaysian Institute of Personnel Management and Member of the Malacca Industrial Skills Development Centre. Datuk Jeffery was a Panel Member of the Industrial Court and the SOCSO Appellate Court. Datuk Jefffery has attended all four (4) Board meetings held in the financial year. Datuk Jeffery does not hold shares in the Company and is not related to any director and/or major shareholder of the Company. He does not have any conflict of interest with the Company and has not been convicted of any offence within the past ten (10) years.
