Biography
Puan Freida Binti Amat is Non-Independent Non-Executive Director at Petronas Chemicals Group Berhad since July 31, 2015. She is a member of the Board Audit Committee. She holds a degree in Economics, majoring in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics & Political Science, University of London, UK. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She joined PETRONAS in 1994 and has held various positions within PETRONAS covering areas of corporate finance, bonds issuance, initial public offerings, financial reporting, financial services and taxation. She is currently the Senior General Manager of Finance & Accounts Services Department, PETRONAS where she is responsible for PETRONAS Group financial reporting, performance review as well as planning and budgeting. She currently sits on the Boards of several companies in the PETRONAS Group.
