Biography
Freida binti Amat is currently the Senior General Manager of Finance & Accounts Services Department, PETRONAS where she is responsible for PETRONAS Group financial reporting, performance review as well as planning and budgeting. She holds a degree in Economics, majoring in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London, UK. She is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She joined PETRONAS in 1994 and has held various positions within PETRONAS covering areas of corporate finance, bonds issuance, initial public offerings, financial reporting, financial services and taxation. She currently sits on the Board of several companies in the PETRONAS Group. Freida was appointed to the Board of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad on 31 July 2015.
