Biography
Tuan Haji Zakaria bin Kasah is the Vice President of Technology & Engineering, Downstream Business, PETRONAS. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University, Washington DC and in the summer of 2010, he studied Leadership Management at the Henley Business School, United Kingdom. Zakaria started his career in PETRONAS since 1987. In his early years, he was involved in prominent projects such as the development of Gas Processing Plant in Kerteh and MLNG DuaProject. He has 20 years of facilities operation experiences with good track record on transformation of facilities to a world class operational excellence. Prior to his current post, he had held a positions of Vice President/CEO of Malaysia LNG, Upstream Malaysia, Upstream Business and also held several managerial position in PETRONAS Gas, Egyptian LNG and Malaysia LNG Group of Companies. He has also been appointed to be on the Student Development Advisory Council for University Technology PETRONAS (UTP). Tuan Haji Zakaria was appointed to the Board of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad on 31 July 2015.
