Biography

Puan Shariza Sharis Binti Mohd Yusof has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective 01 Sep 2017. She Holds Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics & Accounting from University Of Bristol, United Kingdom. Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Upon completing her professional qualification with Wenham Major Chartered Accountants in United Kingdom, she joined PETRONAS in 2001 as an Executive in PETRONAS Corporate Finance where she was involved in PETRONAS global bond issuance and funding of several PETRONAS subsidiaries. A year later, she was assigned to PETRONAS President/CEOs Office as an analyst before being promoted to Financial Accounting Manager, PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad in 2005. In 2007, she was seconded to Dragon LNG, a PETRONAS joint venture in United Kingdom, as Head of Finance & Administration. Upon her return to Malaysia in 2008, she was appointed as Senior Manager Strategic Planning (Corporate and Americas) at PETRONAS Group Strategic Planning where she was involved in several PETRONAS corporate strategy exercises and portfolio reviews. She joined PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG) in 2011 as Head of Group Accounts and Performance Planning and assumed her current position as Financial Controller in 2012.
