Biography
Mr. Mohd Suffian Bin Haji Haron serves as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director at Pharmaniaga Bhd since June 6, 2011. He is the Chairman of the Audit Committee, Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee. He obtained his Bachelor of Economics from University of Malaya in 1970 and did his Master of Business Administration in 1976 at the University of Oregon, USA. He started his career as a Diplomatic and Administrative Officer, attached to the Implementation and Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister's Department and left the Government (after 13 years of service), and served for a Government-Linked Company for six years. He has experience in the insurance, financial, securities and asset management sectors, as well as trading, energy, oil and gas industries. He currently sits as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Affin Bank Berhad, Affin Islamic Bank Berhad, Idaman Pharma Manufacturing Sdn Bhd and as Chairman of LK & Associates Sdn Bhd
