Biography
Professor Dr Abdul Latif Salleh is currently the Dean and professor at the Faculty of Business, Management and Social Sciences (FBMSS) at Quest International University, Ipoh (QIUP). He has vast experience in teaching, research, and administration of academic departments at the university level. Dr. Abdul Latif received his BEc (Hons) from the University of Malaya, MBA from Sheffield University, UK, and MA and PhD from Duke University, USA. He spent 25 years working at the University of Malaya and during his long tenure, he taught at different academic levels including the Executive Diploma, First Degree, and Postgraduate programs, as well as holding various administrative positions. He has also served as the Deputy Dean, Director of Graduate School of Business (UMGSB), Director of Centre for Continuing Education (UMCCed), Deputy Director of the Centre for Economic Development and Ethnic Relations (CEDER), member of the Corporate Planning Unit, Master of Residential College, and President of the Academic Staff Association. Following his retirement in 2008, he went on to continue teaching at the Prince Sultan University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for five years. And prior to joining QIUP, he served for two years as the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management at Vinayaka Mission International University College (VMIUC) in Penang.
