Biography
Chandraseagran brings to QIUP thirty years of experience in teaching and research, with recognised expertise and qualifications in educational psychology, as well as in the management of education. Having initially contributed his expertise as a teacher and educator at various institutions, including MARA, he then spent more than 20 years at the Department of Educational Psychology in the University of Brunei from 1988 till his return to Peninsular Malaysia in 2011 to join QIUP. Over the years, he has researched and dealt extensively into adolescent issues and indiscipline problems of students and is now recognised regionally for his proficiency as a student counsellor and psychologist. Prof. Chandra is a Life Member of the Association of Psychological Educational Counsellors of Asia-Pacific and from 1988 was a Foreign Affiliate of the American Psychological Association, besides being a Board Member of the Association of Psychological Educational Counsellors of Asia-Pacific from 2004 till 2012.
