Subhada Prasad Pani

Biography

Professor Pani has distinguished himself as an acknowledged academic, researcher and administrator in the area of medicine and education, garnered over a period of more than three decades, spent not only in Malaysia and India but also while on WHO assignments. Between 1992 and 2007, he was the principal investigator or co-investigator for several research projects on tropical diseases funded by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Indian Medical Research Council. Prof. Pani began his foray into private medical education in Malaysia in 2007, firstly as Additional Professor of Microbiology and Epidemiology at AIMST University, Kedah and later at Allianze College of Medical Sciences, Penang. Prof. Pani joined the Faculty of Medicine at QIUP in 2011 and has played a pivotal role in establishing the Faculty’s pre-clinical base and consolidating the MBBS curriculum.
