Syed Atif Abbas

Biography

Syed Atif Abbas is Deputy Dean Faculty of Pharmacy. He is Malaysian Registered Pharmacist. He worked as a retail Pharmacy manager before he completed his M.Sc.and Phd from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2003. He started his academic carrier as Assistant Professor at International Islamic University Malaysia. Being a pioneer faculty member at International Islamic University Malaysia, he was actively involved in curriculum development and his role and contribution in curriculum development has been well recognized. Dr. Syed Atif has more than twenty years of distinguished academic carrier not only in Malaysia but also overseas. Prior to joining Quest International University Malaysia he was Deputy Dean Academics and students affairs at Taylor’s University and adjunct lecturer at School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Cardiff University Wales, UK. Because of his student centered teaching style he was nominated “lecturer of the year” while he was lecturer at Charles Sturt University New South Wales Australia in 2009.
