Biography
Serena Soon has over 17 years of environmental consulting experience, with particular expertise in managing environmental impact assessment, regulatory review, management plan, audit and legal register projects. As an environmental auditor, Serena has undertaken over 30 audits, including compliance, corporate, and merger and acquisition audits in Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and South Korea. She is familiar with onshore and offshore environmental requirements in Malaysia, as well as PETRONAS requirements, and has completed numerous environmental reviews that have included developing environmental legal registers for oil and gas companies in Malaysia. Serena is a registered EIA consultant with the Department of Environment in Malaysia (DOE).
