Biography
Tan Sri Datuk Amar (Dr) Hamid Bugo, aged 70, was appointed to the Board of Sapura Energy Berhad (formerly known as SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad) on 27 February 2012 as an Independent Non-Executive Director and was subsequently appointed as the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director on 6 February 2013.
Research Interest
Prior to the merger of businesses between SapuraCrest Petroleum Berhad ("SapuraCrest Petroleum") Group and Kencana Petroleum Berhad Group, Tan Sri Datuk Amar (Dr) Hamid was appointed to the Board of SapuraCrest Petroleum on 25 July 2003 as an Independent Non-Executive Director. He was also a member of the Audit Committee, Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee of SapuraCrest Petroleum.
