B.s. Ong

Biography

 BS Ong joined Schmidt in May 2000 and he brought with him 21 years of working experience in Asia Pacific countries and multi industry exposure – audit, construction, manufacturing & sales and hospitality.  He started as an auditor with Ernst & Young Malaysia and after 7 years with them moved on to work as the Group Accountant for Tat Seng Group in Malaysia (a major contractor, property developer, quarry operator and real property investor Group) for 4 years. He then moved on to Hong Kong and was the Vice President Finance & Administration and Country Controller for HK and China for ABB HK/China. After 7.5 years with ABB, he moved to Tokyo, Japan to be the Asia Pacific Finance Director for Vickers Asia Pacific. After 2 years with Vickers Asia Pacific, BS came back to Hong Kong and became a consultant for the gaming industry before joining Schmidt. 

Research Interest

 BS is a Certified Public Accountant and he has an MBA in Total Quality Management. He is also a certified Director for Malaysian Incorporated Companies.
