Biography
Zainal Abidin Jamal, a Malaysian aged 63, obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Honours) from University of Singapore in 1979. He is a practising corporate and commercial lawyer. He was enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1980 and had practised in Singapore at Y.M. Jumabhoy & Co during the first half of 1980. He served as a First Class Magistrate in Brunei Darussalam from the second half of 1980 to 1983. He had also served as the Company Secretary of Harrisons Malaysian Plantations Berhad from 1983 and 1986.
