Datuk Zaiton Mohd Hassan

Biography

 Datuk Zaiton is a Fellow and Council Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and joined the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB) Committee in January 2016. Datuk Zaiton is the Chairman of the Private Pension Administrator Malaysia and public listed Dolphin International Berhad. She is also a Director of BIMB Holdings Berhad, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, Sime Darby Plantation Berhad, Sime Darby Motors Sdn Bhd, Sime Darby Overseas (HK) Limited and several other private limited companies. Datuk Zaiton also sits on the Board of Governors of the Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance. Datuk Zaiton started her career in PricewaterhouseCoopers as an audit trainee in 1976 and later joined Bank Pembangunan (M) Bhd as a Project Officer. Subsequently, she was seconded to Bapema Corporation Sdn Bhd as a Fund Manager. Datuk Zaiton is the former President/Executive Director of Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad (MARC) until September 2004 when she left to set up her own financial advisory firm, Capital Intelligence Advisors Sdn Bhd. Prior to her appointment in MARC, she had served 12 years with Maybank holding various senior positions including that of General Manager, Group Strategic Planning.
