Derrick Kung Jun Kit

Biography

Derrick graduated from Manipal University in India, having completed an honours degree in Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. He was awarded overall best student (2014-2016) for two consecutive years in terms of his studies and sports. As part of his training, he underwent six months of internship at the Kasturba Hospital of Manipal. This widened his experience in the physiotherapy field of orthopaedics (musculoskeletal cases), general medicine, neurology, women’s health, paediatrics, sports injuries, exercise prescriptions, diabetic clinic, biomechanical assessment, and community rehabilitation. He furthered his learning by attending various workshops such as Fascial dysfunctions in Sport and Understand the Human Fascia (Steco and Tom Meyes Model Technique), Parkinsonism and Stroke Workshop (LSVT Think Big), Sport Training and Core Activation from National India Sport Association and etc. He holds an American Heart Association membership for Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Derrick loves reading latest journals as part of continuous learning.
