Sanjiv Mahadeva

Biography

Professor Dr Sanjiv Mahadeva is a Consultant Gatsroenterologist and Professor of Medicine at the University of Malaya. Following completion of his sub-specialisation training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the U.K., culminating in the award of the U.K. Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST), he joined the Gastroenterology unit of the University of Malaya in 2004. He has actively contributed to clinical, teaching, administrative and research services in UMMC to the present date. His areas of expertise include colon cancer screening, therapeutic GI & Biliary endoscopy, enteral nutrition, management of chronic liver disease and difficult functional bowel disorders.
