He is working as a Doctor of Diabetes and Endocrinology, Malaysia. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.

Dr Tan specializes in endocrinology who graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with his specialist degree from the Royal College of Physicians of United Kingdom, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeon in Glasgow and the Royal College of Physician in Edinburgh.
