Biography
Muthiah alagappa is director of the East-West Center Washington. He received a Ph.D. in international affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. He is visiting Professor in the Asia-Europe Institute in University Malaya. Concurrently he is non-resident Senior Associate with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, D.C.
Research Interest
International relations theory, International politics in the Asia Pacific region, and Comparative politics in Asia.
