Biography
Dr. Mohd Hassan Che Haat started his career as an auditor with a major international accounting firm before pursuing his postgtraduate studies. He holds a Master in Accountancy and a Doctoral Degree in Accountancy from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). At present, he is an associate professor in School of Maritime Business and Management, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. He has been teaching Integrated Case Study, Audit, Financial Accounting, Business Ethics & Corporate Governance and Islamic Financial Management papers for undergraduate courses. He has published a number of research papers in both international and local journals, and presented papers at several seminars and conferences.
Research Interest
Dr. Mohd Hassan Che Haat main research interest is in the areas of corporate governance, corporate disclosure, auditing and internal controls. In addition to all this, he is also an associate member of The Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia (IIAM).
