Biography
Dr. Rosnan Yaacob is a Professor in the Department of Marine & Environmental Sciences, University Malaysia Terengganu, Kuala Nerus, Terengganu Darul Iman, Malaysia.
Research Interest
Dr. Rosnan Yaacob research interest is in geological oceanography notably coastal processes and sediment mobility. I has lead 14 research projects and completed more than 11 research projects funded by various agencies (such as National Science and Development Council and International Atomic Energy Agency). Additionally, I am the assessor for the UMT Journal of Sustainability Science and Management, and the Bulletin of Geological Society of Malaysia. I have be as author or co–author of over 100 scientific articles in journals and proceedings (local and international), 8 monographs, 20 reports and one book translation. Recently, 3 articles have been submitted for publication in journal. I was listed as an outstanding scientist by Marquis Who’s Who and International Biographical Centre (IBC), Cambridge, England for the year of 2007.
