Biography
Dr. Shahnaz Ismail holds a Diploma in Agriculture Business (UPM), Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) (UPM), Master of Science in Accounting (UPM) and a Ph.D in Accounting (UMT). She has 20 years of experience in teaching. Among the subjects taught are accounting, economics, business and finance. She started her career as a teacher at the Matriculation Education Centre in UPM. She had also collaborated with the Matriculation Department, Ministry of Education in setting-up the curriculum for the Accounting Matriculation Programme and also become one of the author in the accounting modules for matriculation students.
Research Interest
Dr. Shahnaz Ismail main research interest is in the area of financial reporting, corporate governance, auditor switch, event study, market efficiency, issues on family business, culture and education
