Biography
Dr Teoh Kum Faut is our resident Consultant Gastroenterologist. He is accredited by the Ministry of Health of Malaysia and Singapore in the subspeciality practice of Gastroenterology. Dr Teoh attained his medical degree MD (UKM) from the National University of Malaysia in 1996. He went on to complete his post graduate training in internal medicine and obtained the membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians, MRCP (UK) in 2002. From 2003 to 2006, he did his Advanced Specialty Training in Gastroenterology at the National University Hospital (NUH) of Singapore and is board certified by the Specialists Accreditation Board of Singapore. These valuable experiences have afforded him the opportunity to be trained in the management of a wide variety of common and complicated gastrointestinal and liver diseases. He is competent in diagnostic and advanced therapeutic endoscopy ie gastroscopy, colonoscopy and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
