Dr. Ilhaamie Binti Abdul Ghani Azmi

Biography

Dr Ilhaamie is now Associate Professor at Department of Syariah and Management, Academy of Islamic Studies, University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur.  She obtained her PhD at USM, MBA from UKM and BBA, UIAM.  Her current research interests are human resource management, entrepreneurship, service quality and Islamic management.  To date, she has authored 3 books, co-authored 2 books, 11 book chapters and published 48 articles and 80 papers. Three of her papers have won best paper award at the international conferences. Her research teams also won 1 diamond, 7 silver and 2 bronze medals in research poster competition locally and internationally. Furthermore, she was awarded as Fellow Researcher at University of Wollongong, Australia and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan in 2013. In 2003 and 2009 respectively, she was bestowed with Excellence Service Awards and a certificate of Excellence Service from University Malaya in 2010.  Due to her passion in research, she is registered with Global Agency Research and International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology as lifetime member.  On top of that, she was appointed as panel reviewer for research grants, university programs, international conferences and academic journals.  She also had served as the Head of Department that she affliated with from Nov 2002 to Oct 2003 and Jan 2008 till Jun 2011 and PhD programme Coordinator from 2 Feb 2014 till 1 Feb 2016.
