Biography
Izlin is currently the Head of Department of Finance and Banking at the Faculty of Business and Accountancy, University of Malaya. She recently served as the Deputy Director at the International Institute of Public Policy and Management (INPUMA) and continues to serve as an Associate of INPUMA. Prior to being in academia, she was a corporate analyst at a multinational corporation. Izlin graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, and obtained a Master of Science degree in Investment Management from Cass Business School, City University of London. She completed her PhD thesis on the Monetary History of Malaysia at Nottingham University Business School. Izlin has published papers in local and international journals. Her areas of research interest are capital markets with a focus on the fixed income market and investment instruments, international finance and monetary history.
