Biography
Yew Kong Lee is senior lecturer at the Department of Primary Care Medicine, University of Malaya. His research interests involve the influence of patient values on health decisions, strategies to promote collaborative, patient-centered care in low resource settings, and developing aids and tools to support shared decision making for various preference-sensitive health conditions. He was recipient of the 2012 International Travel Award from the Society of Medical Decision Making and the 2014 Minister of Health Research and Innovation Grand Prize at the PHAMA Awards 2014 (as part of the Decision Making in Insulin Therapy project).
