Biography
Dr Faizul graduated with a B.Eng and M.Eng in Mechanical Systems Engineering from Kitami Institute of Technology, Japan in 1999 and 2001, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D in the field of Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) from Tohoku University, Japan in 2009. He is a member of The Institution of Mechanical Engineers, UK and a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institution of Engineers, UK. He has been appointed a member of Young Scientists Network - Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM) for a period of 2015-2018. In terms contribution of his research expertise, he is a reviewer for more than 15 peer reviewed journals and has served in a number of conferences as a technical committee member. His research interests are in thermoelectric materials and generators, lead-free solder alloys, and MEMS. He has published over 100 scientific articles and filed 7 patents on the mentioned research topics.
