Biography
Dr. Mohd Sayuti Ab Karim obtained his Bachelor Degree in CAD/CAM Engineering from University of Malaya in 2006. Directly after his graduation, he pursued his postgraduate studies in Engineering Science. His postgraduate research for Master and Doctoral studies focused on Advanced Manufacturing Process. He obtained his PhD in 2013 and joined the Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaya thereafter. Dr. Mohd Sayuti research career started in mid 2006 as a Research Assistant at Advanced Manufacturing and Material Processing (AMMP) Centre and had conducted many research projects related to design and manufacturing. Up to now, Dr. Mohd Sayuti has published more than 10 ISI publications and contributed to 2 books publications. Commercially, Dr Sayuti has been granted 3 patents. At the same time Dr. Mohd Sayuti is now holding the position as General Manager at Zecttron Sdn Bhd which is a Spin-off Company of University of Malaya. Dr Sayuti is a registered member of Institutional Engineering Malaysia (IEM) and a registered graduate member of Board Engineer Malaysia (BEM) since 2012.
