Biography
Associate Professor Dr Mukhri Hamdan, Consultant Obstetricians and Gynaecologists is a subspecialist in reproductive medicine and surgery. He was trained locally and internationally within Malaysia and the United Kingdom hospitals since 2003. After completing his master programme in 2010, Dr Mukhri practiced in UMMC as lecturer before he joined Complete Fertility Southampton, United Kingdom for more than three years and gained advanced training in subfertility and reproductive medicine. He is certified by British Fertility Society (BFS) to perform embryo transfer (ET) and intrauterine insemination (IUI). While doing his subspecialisation in In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), he also did his doctorate in Reproductive Medicine with particular interest in Endometriosis and IVF. In 2016, he was awarded a PhD from University of Southampton. In his PhD, he did both clinical and laboratory work including performing meta-analyses, analysing huge IVF databases, conducting animal study and discovering biomarkers for endometriosis. He has presented his work in many international meetings and has published them in high impact academic journals in various aspects of endometriosis field.
