Biography
Dr. Noorhidawati Abdullah is an Associate Professor at Department of Library & Information Science in the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology, University of Malaya. She graduated with BIT (Science and Management System) in 2000 and MIT (Management of Information System) in 2003 both from National University of Malaysia. Dr. Noorhidawati obtained her PhD in 2008 from University of Strathclyde Glasgow. Her research interests include information behavior, digital library, social media, information management, open access and scholarly publication, bibliometrics. She is at present the editorial board member of the Malaysian Journal of Library & Information Science (JIF 0.423 JCR 2012). She is regularly serves as a scientific committee of several reputable International Conferences (such as IColis) and also a reviewer for a number of international and local conference papers.
