Biography
Dr. Yong Adilah Binti Shamsul Harumain is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Built Environment, University of Malaya. She obtained her PhD from Utsunomiya University, Japan in Innovation Systems Engineering (majoring in Land use and Transportation planning) in 2015. She received her Masters of Science in Land Administration and Development from University of Technology Malaysia in 2012 and her Bachelor Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from International Islamic University Malaysia in 2006. Her research interest are women in transport, non-motorized transportation planning and urban planning in Asia countries. Her academic carrier began with her passion to see the betterment of Malaysia's urban planning and later on she develop her interest in transportation planning when she did her Phd in Japan with Professor Akinori Morimoto. It is her hope that she can contribute for the betterment of land use and transportation planning integration in Malaysia in future through her researches.
