Biography
As Senior Vice President of product development, Duane Wiedor is responsible for leading the global functions of research and development, enabling technology projects, new product program management, software architecture, applications and user experience. He is also responsible for partner integration tools and support, remote service delivery tools, health record IT connectivity and international research and development. Additionally, he executes the company's product strategy focusing on providing solutions to meet customers' needs. Wiedor joined Welch Allyn in 2013 as senior director of global product development and served in this role until 2015. Prior to joining Welch Allyn, he was plant manager at Pittsburgh Glass Works from 2012 to 2013. Wiedor also served in various engineering and operations positions for Honeywell, Molex, TRW and PPG Industries. Wiedor is active in the Central New York community and serves on the Central New York Veterans Recognition Foundation and the American Heart Association. He earned his bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from University of Cincinnati and earned his Master of Business Administration from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
