Eric Atkins

Biography

As Executive director of finance, Eric Atkins is responsible for leading the company's global finance team, overseeing all financial matters for the company, aligning finance and business strategies and executing profitable growth strategies. Before joining Welch Allyn in 2015, Atkins served as senior manager of corporate development and strategy at Hill-Rom, responsible for developing global, long range strategies to drive profitable growth across the organization. Additionally, he was responsible for coordinating the evaluation and execution of merger and acquisition opportunities. Before joining Hill-Rom, Atkins held a number of increasingly responsible positions at KPMG, most recently as director of transactions and restructuring. While at KPMG, he provided due diligence and advisory services to private equity clients covering a diverse array of transactions and sectors in North America and Europe. He earned his two bachelor’s degrees in finance and accounting from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and is a certified public accountant (CPA).
