Mike Burman

Biography

 Mike Burman is the Vice President of Global Medical Information at ProPharma Group.  Mike has over 15 years’ experience working in Medical Information, a majority of which is based on the client side of the business in management and leadership roles for companies such as Wyeth, AstraZeneca, and Bristol-Myers Squibb.  Mike approaches his work with a continuous improvement philosophy, leading to innovative ways to engage health care professionals and members of the public as they seek medical information.  Mike has a unique perspective on ProPharma Group Medical Information, as in a prior role Mike was ProPharma Group’s first client in the Asia Pacific Region and utilized ProPharma Group services in Europe, Middle East, and Africa as well.   Mike is active in several professional organizations and is a frequent speaker on topics related to global medical information at various industry conferences in the US, Europe and the Asia Pacific Region.  Mike has been a Chair for sessions on globalization for the DIA in the US and ARCS in Australia, and is on the 2017 Planning Committee for the DIA Medical Affairs and Scientific Communications Conference.  Mike earned his BS in Pharmacy from Temple University in Philadelphia and his Doctor of Pharmacy from Shenandoah University in Virginia.
