Biography
Laura Hamill is senior vice president, U.S. Commercial Operations. Prior to this role, Laura was senior vice president, Regional General Manager, responsible for operations in more than 35 countries, including two generic manufacturing sites. Laura joined Amgen in 2002 and became vice president, general manager of the Inflammation Business Unit in 2004. In 2007, she moved to Amgen’s international headquarters in Switzerland as the vice president, International Marketing and Business Operations. In 2009, Laura returned to the United States as vice president and general manager, Corporate Accounts, which in 2010 became Commercial Operations Business Unit with the merger of two business units into one, Corporate Accounts and Commercial Operations Effectiveness Business Units. In July of 2011, she moved back into the international markets leading our expansion into Latin America, Canada and Australia as vice president, LACAN Regional General Manager.
