G Murdo has been Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) since June, 2016. In this role he is responsible for leading the execution of commercial strategy across the globe. This includes all sales and marketing activities as well as customer operations, access and pricing. Prior to becoming CCO, Murdo served as head of worldwide markets with responsibility for the promotion of all BMS brands in over 65 global markets. This was preceded by his work as president of BMS’ US operations; a role he assumed in 2013. Murdo joined Bristol-Myers Squibb in 1989 and spent the first 14 years of his career in Canada where he held positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing. Murdo moved to the U.S. in 2003 where he held senior commercial leadership positions in a number of different areas including cardiovascular, neuroscience, Access/Government Affairs, oncology and immunology.
