Biography
Sorin Laurentiu Stanescu is the Technical Manager of LIG Nanowise Ltd, the company which created Nanopsis - the first super-resolution optical microscope in the world. He obtained his PhD in novel laser laser devices for nanotechnology and he had a PostDoc position in nano optics at The University of Manchester (Laser Processing and Research Center, School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering). His research is focused now in optical super-resolution microscopy techniques. He has also a lot of expertise in laser cleaning.
