Biography
Torpey, is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in shoulder, knee, hip, sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, and joint replacement. Dr. Torpey joined Professional Orthopaedic Associates in 1995. After completing his bachelor of arts at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Dr. Torpey went on to earn his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He then completed an internship in general surgery at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, and residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Monmouth Medical Center - Barnabas Health in Long Branch, New Jersey. Dr. Torpey is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
