Biography
As chief statistician for the National Toxicology Program (NTP), Grace Kissling provides statistical direction and advice, interpretation, and some statistical analyses for the NTP’s rodent bioassays. She also provides support for other testing and evaluation approaches used by the NTP, such as mixtures research, high throughput screening, the Report on Carcinogens, and alternatives to animal testing. Kissling serves as Contracting Officer’s Representative for the NIEHS/NTP Statistical Support contract, and oversees the day-to-day statistical analysis and mathematical modeling work of the contractor. Her research interest includes applications of biostatistics to toxicology/carcinogenesis and human studies and, as such, collaborates with researchers in the Division of Intramural Research Division, the Division of the NTP, and the extramural community on laboratory experiments and human studies. She is also the statistical consultant and a member of the NIEHS Animal Care and Use Committee.
