Biography
Sheba Churchill, D.V.M. is an Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) fellow in the Laboratory Animal Medicine Group within the National Toxicology Program (NTP) Cellular & Molecular Pathology Branch. She receives training in laboratory animal medicine from NTP, NIEHS, and surrounding local laboratory animal programs and is responsible for veterinary care in those facilities. She is currently working on studies evaluating the impact of environmental enrichment on rodent models in NTP's in vivo toxicology and carcinogenicity studies. Churchill earned her B.S. degree in zoology from North Carolina State University (NCSU), and later a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to joining NTP in 2012, she worked in a small animal private practice and as a public health veterinarian with USDA-FSIS.
