Arun Kumar Agnihotri

Biography

Dr. Arun Kumar Agnihotri is Professor of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology and is the head of the Department of Forensic Medicine& Toxicology at the S.S.R. Medical College, Mauritius.  DrAgnihotri’s research interest directed at forensic anthropology is focused on the fragmented remains, skeletal remains, fingerprints, footprints and dental examination to develop promising database for the Mauritian Population that can be used for identification of unknown individuals. Dr. Agnihotri is member of the World Association of Medical Editors, the International Association of Forensic Toxicologists, the African Union of Risk Management in Preventive Medicine, the African Society of Forensic Medicine, the Indian Medical Association, the Indian Congress of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology and the Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine. Dr. Agnihotri serves as the Editor in Chief and ‘Publisher’ for the Internet Journal of Medical Update, Founding Editor, Managing Editor and ‘Publisher’ for the International Journal of Medical & Biomedical Research (Official Journal of IAMBR-SFRR Africa Alliance), Editor for the Emergency Medicine: Open Access and International Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology. He is the current Secretary of International Association of Medical and Biomedical Researchers (IAMBR).
