Biography

Mr. Mike Medeiros has been Chief Operating Officer at Grupo Aeroméxico S. A. B. de C. V. since April 2017. Mr. Medeiros served as Vice President of Seattle at Delta Air Lines, Inc. from September 1, 2013 to January 2017. He served as Vice President of Global Human Resources and Talent Development at Delta Air Lines Inc. until September 1, 2013. Mr. Medeiros served as Vice President for Airport Customer Service for JFK Airport of Delta Air Lines Inc. since August 17, 2007. Since joining Delta in 1988, he has held key operational, commercial and corporate support roles across the airline. He helped establish Delta as the city's largest global carrier and gained operational expertise in his previous role as vice president - New York Operations, based at JFK. He oversaw airport customer service functions from the check-in lobby to baggage handling. Mr. Medeiros also oversees Delta's continued investment in JFK, both in facility improvements and team development. In addition to working closely with the FAA and Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to help improve the efficiency of JFK airport operations, he continues to focus on building a strong Delta team at JFK. In nearly 20 years with Delta, Mr. Medeiros served as a Customer Service Agent and worked in Customer Care. He also supported Delta's Airport Customer Service division as Director of Human Resources, Director of Airport Customer Service for the East and also served as Corporate Director of JFK. Graduating from North Carolina State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He later graduated from Auburn University with an MBA.
