Biography
Eduardo Escalante was appointed CFO of Alpek in 2013. He joined the company in 2009 as President of the Caprolactam and Fertilizers business unit. Prior to this, Mr. Escalante held several management positions in Alfa, the holding company as well as subsidiaries: Hylsamex, Sigma Alimentos, and Alestra before being named CEO of Colombin Bel, and President of AOL Mexico from 1999 to 2006.
Research Interest
He holds a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM), a Master’s in Engineering from Stanford University, and attended the Accounting and Financial Management Executive Program at Columbia Business School.
