He has served as Chairman of the Board of Sanborn Hermanos, S.A., Vice Chairman of the Board of Telefonos de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. He is member of the Board of America Movil, S.A.B de C.V., Grupo Carso, S.A.B. de C.V., Grupo Financiero Inbursa, S.A.B. de C.V., and many of its subsidiaries and affiliates. He is actively involved in several foundations and philantropic organizations.
