Biography

  Mr. Michael W. Bowling has been Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy since September 2013. Mr. Bowling is responsible for driving AT&T’s overall long-term planning and strategic initiatives. He served as Chief Marketing Officer of Business Solutions at&T and was responsible for driving the growth of a $37B wireline business as well as the Business Mobility service portfolio. He served as the President of AT&T Mexico, Inc. He served as Vice President of Converged Services & Platform Development and Vice President of Marketing & Product Management for Broadband at&T from 2003 to 2005. He entered AT&T from BellSouth and led the formulation of the entertainment and advertising strategy for AT&T across wireless, broadband and television platforms, later driving the delivery of “One AT&T”: a seamless customer experience across AT&T products. He also worked in BellSouth’s International division and in business development. He served as Chief Marketing Officer in Peru for BellSouth’s wireless unit. He also served in a wide range of marketing and sales capacities within BellSouth’s domestic enterprise and consumer operations since joining BellSouth in 1990. He serves as a Member of Strategic Advisory Board at Vobile, Inc. He served as a Director of Telmex SA. Mr. Bowling served as a Director of Teléfonos de México, S.A.B. de C.V. since 2011. He served as Provisional Director of Telmex Internacional, S.A.B. de C.V (formerly, Telmex International, S.A.B. de C.V.) since July 2009 and served as its Independent Director since December 15, 2009. He is an avid supporter of the Salvation Army. He serves as on the Board of Governors for the Center for the Digital Future at the USC Annenberg School. He serves as an Adjunct Professor of Management at Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in business administration from Vanderbilt University.   Mr. Michael W.
