From 1996 to 1999, he was an Economist in Mexico for Deutsche Morgan Grenfel and during 1996, he was also an Advisor to the Deputy Director of Financial Engineering of BANOBRAS (Mexico). He serves as a Director at Banco Santander (México), S.A. and Institución de Banca Múltiple. He has been a Director of Grupo Financiero Santander Mexico, S.A.B. de C.V. since 2012.
