David Antonio Ibarra Muñoz

Biography

Lic. David Antonio Ibarra Muñoz serves as an Independent Advisor. Lic. Ibarra Muñoz served as the Chief Executive Officer for the development bank Nacional Financiera from 1976 to 1977. He served as an Advisor to the General Director of Petróleos Mexicanos from 1987 to 1987. He served as Consultant of Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) from 1983 to 2001. He served as a Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank from 1983 to 1986. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at Nicaragua of America Movil S.A.B. de C.V. He served in the Mexican Ministry of Secretary of Finance and Public Credit from 1977 to 1982. He served as General Director for the Banco de México since 1982. He has been an Independent Director of America Movil S.A.B. de C.V. since 2000. He has been an Independent Director at Sofom Inbursa, S.A. de C.V., SOFOM, ER, Grupo Financiero Inbursa since April 29, 2015. He serves as an Independent Consultant and Member of the Board of Directors of IDEAL. He serves as an independent director of Grupo Mexicano de Desarrollo, S.A.B. since April 2006. He serves as an Independent Director of Grupo Carso, S.A.B. de C.V. He has been a an Independent Director of Banco Inbursa, S.A., Institución de Banca Múltiple, Grupo Financiero April 29, 2015. He served as a Director of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Mexico from 1970 to 1973. He holds a B. A. in Economics and is a Public Accountant by the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He also has graduate studies from Stanford University.
