Biography

Mr. Ricardo Tadeu Almeida Cabral de Soares, LLM, serves as the Africa Zone President of AB InBev. Mr. de Soares joined AB InBev in 1995 and has held various roles across the commercial area. He has been General Director and an Executive President of Grupo Modelo, S.A.B. de C.V. since June 2013 and served as its General Manager and Chairman of Mexico Region. He was appointed Business Unit President for the Operations in Hispanic Latin America in 2005 and served as Business Unit President Brazil from 2008 to 2012. He was appointed Zone President Mexico in 2013. He served as Sales Executive Officer of Companhia de Bebidas das Américas - Ambev since 2008. He served as the President of the Latin America and Hispanic Business Unit at AB InBev from 2008 to 2012. He joined Companhia de Bebidas Das Americas (AMBEV) in 1995 and served various positions in the areas of Finance, Sales and Direct Distribution. In 2005, he also served as Regional Officer for Southern Brazil, while in 2007 he served as an Executive Officer for Hila-ex. He has been a Non-Executive Director of Delta Corporation Limited since January 27, 2017. He has been a Director of Grupo Modelo, S.A.B. de C.V. since August 22, 2013. He holds a Law Degree from Universidade Candido Mendes and an LL.M. from Harvard University.
