Biography
Mr. Carrillo has extensive experience in the industrial, energy, transportation and construction sectors internationally, including Mexico, Brazil and United States. Mr. Carrillo began his career at Electrodos Infra S.A. de C.V. in 1988. In 2009, he was appointed Group President of the Energy Equipment Group at Trinity Industries Inc. in Dallas and later served as Senior Vice-President before joining Mexichem in 2012. He has coordinated mergers and acquisitions of various sizes and complexities throughout his career. He has served as Professor of Finance at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, one of the most prestigious universities in finance and accounting in Mexico. Mr. Carrillo holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico City.
