Biography
Dr. Manuel Jiménez Estrada has completed his Postdoctoral Position at Genève University, Switzerland. Researcher under contract, 1978-1979, with the group of Prof. Dr. Charles W. Jefford, PhD. School of Chemistry, UNAM (1969-1974). PhD. in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry), BSc. (1962-1966), School of Chemistry, National Autonomous University of Mexico, UNAM. At present he is fully researcher in the university of chemistry. He was awarded the maximum level at the National Research System.
Research Interest
Dr. Manuel Jiménez Estrada focused on the Organic photochemistry, Research on the chemistry of natural products and phytochemistry, Chemical transformations and biotransformations (Biotechnology) of Natural Products. Biodirected, tests on the biological activity and applications of active natural products, Pollution, phyto-remedies, alternative sources of energy from vegetal waste.
